We are excited to share that our current school which has up to 8th grade, has been certified by the ministry of education to have a Junior High School at our current location due to the current infrastructure which is an advantage to us.

The Kenyan Ministry of Education in the past year did resolve to adopt a competency-based approach in the Kenyan school curriculum reforms based on the findings of the needs assessment study carried out in 2016. The aim of the new curriculum is to adopt international best practices in the education system that leaves a skillful and inquisitive educational approach in the child’s mind vis-à-vis the grilling educative approach of ideas in the student educative development.

This new education structure has necessitated the ministry of education to introduce a new education system to all schools in Kenya. This new structure will entail six years of K-6 in elementary, 3 years of Junior high (6-9 grades), and 3 years of Senior High Schooling.

Our current parents especially of Grade 6 students who will be transitioning to Grade 7 are equally excited and eager to join the new Junior High come next year January 2023. We are optimistic and have faith that through your continued support and prayers, we will see this to fruition as the Junior high school has to be independent of the existing elementary school as required by the government!
