Our scouts had an exciting and adventurous camping experience from 24th to 25th January 2026 at Eburu Retreat Camp!
Accompanied by their dedicated Heads of Department, Mr. Boniface, Ms. Irene, and Mr. George, the camp was filled with learning, teamwork, and fun.
Nestled in a serene and tranquil environment, Eburu Retreat Camp offered the perfect setting for the camp. Surrounded by lush greenery, fresh mountain air, and the calming sounds of nature, the peaceful atmosphere allowed the scouts to unwind, reflect, and fully immerse themselves in the scouting experience, away from the busy school routine.
The scouts enjoyed an energizing hike through the Eburu Forest, where they connected with nature and tested their endurance. They also had a rare opportunity to visit the KenGen Eburru Power Station, gaining valuable insights into geothermal energy and its role in sustainable power generation.
Adding to the adventure, the scouts climbed a watchtower, taking in breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. They fully embraced scouting life through scout drills, camping activities, and a memorable campfire session that strengthened bonds and built confidence, and fostered teamwork.
Overall, the camp was a rewarding experience that nurtured leadership, discipline, teamwork, and appreciation for nature. Congratulations to our scouts and their mentors for making this camp a great success!
